The following set of six key questions are being asked to provide a guide as to public sentiment on a range of issues that are fundamental to the operation of a competent parliamentary democracy.  The collective response will form the basis for a petition to parliament seeking an indicative referendum.

  1. Should there be a review of the present MMP electoral system?
  2. Should NZ use an STV/ranked preference voting system ?
  3. Do we need longer parliamentary terms?
  4. Do we need to change the way politics is funded?
  5. Do we need more MPs?
  6. Should all voters be required to have a formal digital (RealMe) identity.

Each question is seeking a response on a range through “yes+” “yes-“ “neutral” “no-“ “no+” where the plus indicates strong support minus indicates mild support.

Go to any one of those linked questions to read more and then vote in the poll for each one.
